The Source
Our Hazelnut Medium Roast begins where great coffee always does: at origin. We source exclusively Specialty Grade, Single Origin Brazilian beans — scoring 80+ on the SCA scale — grown at altitude in the Cerrado and Sul de Minas regions, where rich red soil and a defined dry season produce beans with a naturally smooth, low-acidity profile. No harsh bite. No bitterness. Just a clean, round cup that lets the hazelnut character shine without fighting the base.
The Craft
Every batch is roasted small-batch — never more than what we can control with precision — to a carefully calibrated medium roast that preserves the bean's inherent sweetness while developing the caramelized sugars that give this coffee its signature body. Immediately after the drum, while the beans are still warm and their pores are open, high-quality hazelnut oils are applied directly to the surface — allowing maximum absorption into the bean rather than sitting as a surface coating. The result is a flavor that's integrated, not artificial. Aromatic, not perfumed.
