The Engineering
Espresso extraction requires two non-negotiable variables: temperature stability at 88–96°C and sufficient pressure to force water through a compacted coffee bed. Most portable machines compromise one or both. The Field Press uses a 304 stainless steel water chamber to maintain thermal stability through the extraction cycle, and its battery-driven pump generates consistent pressure across the full 80-second pull — producing a crema-bearing shot rather than a diluted approximation. The dual-mode interface separates manual control (single-click) from automated extraction (double-click), giving the experienced barista full authority over the pull while offering a repeatable default for field conditions. At 530g and 235mm, it fits a jacket pocket, a kit bag, or a desk drawer — with no power outlet, no compromise.
